the story of us

we met at work. not that original i know. we were just yosi buddies at first. he waited for me during break time so we could smoke together. he filled up my water bottle when it's goin empty. we didn't talk that much about personal stuff, it was always about work more than anything. i was single then, and didn't expect to meet anybody interesting enough to be a boyfriend. i thought he was already in a relationship because he was older and nicer than most of the guys at work. i treated him like a buddy who's always just around. our first date was amazing. we just stayed in a restaurant and talked the night away. we discovered we had so much to talk about even after a year of being friends. i felt special again in his eyes. it's a first time for me to be friends with a guy for so long before being romantically involved. i usually know the first time i see a guy if i'm attracted to him or not. to make the long story short, we ended up marrying each other. exactly one year ago from yesterday, we were civilly wed. 6 months from today, we'll also celebrate our church wedding anniversary. to make things a bit clearer, the housemate i was referring to in my previous posts is actually my husband. bet you've figured that out by now.
